"This Country Party is an excretion on the body politic,” said Mr. Allen Bell. M.P. at Kaitaia last Monday night. In making bis aftack upon the Country Party Mr. Bell is making an aftack upon the working farmers of this electorate. Will they stand for this ? Whatever pretence the Reform Party might make of being the mly party that can represent co' itry interests, the solid fact rer. tins that no Government has allc ved the working farmer to be more fully exploited by financial institutions and others. The Country Party has arisen us a direct result of the Reform Governments lack of sympathy with the small farmers’ interests.
