Matthews) terminated the meeting. WAIHARARA. * Mr. H. J. Sweeney addressed a well-att-ended meeting at Slavia Hali on Thursday. After hearing the candidate, the following resolution was passed with hearty enthusiasm: “That Mr. Sweeney be thanked for the ablest and most instructive speech delivered here during a period of several years.”
