At a further meeting of the 4- and P. Association last week it was definitely de. cided to proceed with the sports and show even if the juvenile health restrictions aie not lifted, the Committee being of the opinion that the fiixture can still be made successful. Thus on April 3rd and 4th we may expect to find the sports and show in full swing. For the show, the season has been good, and it is expected that entries will be numerous. Here it might be mentioned that the show cannot be a success without the whole-hearted co-operation of farmers and business men and all who are interested in promoting the progress and prosperity of the district. Without active co-operation and willing, voluntary service it would be an impossible task to undertake such an enterprise. The community is under a debt of obligation to the committee of management for the work they so willingly devote to the undertaking and an appeal is made to the people of the town and district to rally round them and make the show what it should be. An increase in the sale of member’s tickets makes the Association less dependent on the gate money and sucscriptions to the prize money list also help to fill a big gap. Therefore if you have not joined up do so now and help the Association over a difficult year, Remember, this is a county fixture and not confined to any one place. For the sports, to be held on Friday, April 3rd, good nominations should be forthcoming as the programme is a liberal one. Nominations dose on the 28th inst. stock entries close on the same date.
