PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Kaitaia Town Board, held on the 14th day of November, 1923, the following Estimate of Expenditure for the period from April Ist, 1913, to March 3 1st, 1924, was approved by the Board : Sums already available, Nil. Sum required, £451 14s. 6d. The total rateable value of all property on the Valuation Roll of the Kaitaia Town District is £72,164 (Seventy-two thousand one hundred and sixty-four pounds), and the General Rate thereon necessary to raise the money required for such estimated expenditure' is 1.5 pence in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property withia the said Town District, and notice is hereby given that the said Town Board, under the powers conferred upon it b| the fating Act, 1908, the Town Amendments, and ill other powers enabling it in that behalf, mtefeds at its meeting to be held at the Board’s Office, Commerce Stieet, Kaitaia, on the nth day of December, 1923. to mike and levy' the aforesaid rate for the period from April Ist, 1923, to March 3 fit, 1924, and that such rate shall be pavspile in one sum on the 20th day of December, 1923, to John Guy Dennison, the (-Board's Collector, Commerce Street, Xsiitaia, or to such other person as may ffotn time to time be appointed to collect the same.
