Welcome to Mr. and Mrs. O’Grady, who returned to Kaitaia ex Clansman last week.
Lieut. Dawson, who has been in Camp for some months returned home per Waiatohi on 7th January looking tit and well.
Amongst the inward passengers to Awanui by the Apanui on the 7th inst. were Misses Chatterton, Reeve and Thomas, Messrs. L. Matthews, R. Ewing, Wright and Colonel Bell. Per the Waitohi to Mangonui on the same date were Messrs. F. B. Rowe, Saunders, Ryan, Rev. Brooks, Clifton, Mosley, Smith, Matheson, Titheridge, Brooks, Oulds, and Mrs. Matheson.
Dr. Fitchett arrived by the Waitohi on the 7th inst. on a visit to the Far North.
Miss Myrtle Reeve, of Anckland, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Saunders at Rangitihi.
Mr. Vernon Reed, M.P., left for Wellington on Tuesday last in connection with several important matters pertaining to his constituency.
Mr. W. A. Campbell, who has been on a visit to Auckland, returned by the Apanui on the 7th.
