MANGONUI COUNTY COUNCIL BY-LAWS In pursuance of “ The Counties Act, iqo8” and its amendments “The Public Works Act 1908 ” and its amendments and all other acts powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf the Council of the Mangonui County do hereby make and ordain the following By-Law for the Mangonui County that is to say:— 1. This By-Law shall be called and may for all purposes be cited as “The Heavy Traffic Amendment By-Law 1917” and shall be read together with “The Heavy Traffic By-Law 1914” of the said County and shall apply to the whole of the Mangonui County except the WainuiHerckino Road known as Gorge Road in the Herekino Riding of the Mangonui County : and shall come into force on the First day of June, 1917. 2. Section 5 clause (a) of “ The Heavy Traffic By-Law 1914" of the Mangonui County Council passed on the Thirty-first day of July, 1914 and confirmed on the First day of September 1914 shall be and the same is hereby amended by deleting the word “ Two” and substituting the word “ Four" therefor. 3. Section6 of “The Heavy Trafficßy Law 1914” aforesaid shall be and the same is hereby amended by deleting the words : “ other than the particular kinds of ‘ heavy traffic ’ mentioned in clause 5 hereof ” where the said words occur after the word “ By-Law ” in the second line of the said Section 6. The above By-Law was made by the Mangonui County Council by Special Order passed at a meeting held on the First day of March 1917 and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the said Council held on the Fifth day of April 1917. The Common Seal of the Chairman Councillors and Inhabitants of the County of Mangonui was affixed hereto at a meeting and by order of the Mangonui County Council on the Fifthday of April 1917. THOS.
