It Was one of Mr. Biddle's many interesting characteristics that he always talked correctly. If he had been caught and caged early enough, he might have made an editor, or something but, as it was, he was just an ordinary person. The other day he and his son Tommy went for a day's fishing, and in giving his offspring a demonstration as to how a fly ought to be cast Mr. Biddle overbalanced and fell into the water. “Help, help !” cried Tommy, as he waved his arms. “Pa will be drownded ! He’ll be drown-ded !” But at that moment the parent’s face rose above the waters. “ ‘Drowned,’ you idiot I” he roared. V ‘Drowned V ”
