STRANGE DREAM OF GOLD.
Two grey-haired women—Mrs. Vati Ohl and Miss Smith—both well past middle life, are about to set out for the goldfields of Nevada, where they expect to find and open up a prodigiously rich vein of gold, the situation of which was simultaneously revealed to them in a vision. Both the women are old residents of New Jersey and have been friends for many years. Both are practical business women, and the appearance of this remarkable dream, which came to them at the same hour of the morning, when each was sleeping at her home, something more than four miles apart, is as inexplicable to themselves as to others. The same scene was revealed to each woman in every detail, and both were carried over the prairie to a spot where they saw great veins and pockets of gold. Both have drawn plans of their dream journey, and they coincide, so the two women have decided to try and solvo the mystery.
