(From our own Correspondent.) Everything is “ dead flat ” —can’t move for mud. The roads are very bad. As usual, when the season is nearly over, the boys start the football craze. All hands, both fanners and gumdiggers, are complaining about the wet. Judging by the number pf people who are busy ploughing and gardening, etc., this will be a record cropping year for this district. The new flax mill at Waipapakauri is a bit of an eye-opener—everything up-to-date, solid and well built. Won’t be
