Herekino.

(From a Correspondent). A most enjoyable social was held in Mr. Powell’s hall on Friday, 6th July. In spite of the inclement weather quite a large number were present. Dancing was kept up till daylight, interspersed by vocal items rendered by Miss McCarty and Messrs. Willis and Olsen. Especial mention should be made of Mr. Olsen’s comic song, “John Moloney,” which “ brought dowt the house.” Music was supplied by Mr. H. G. Powe.l. It is the intention of the dancing class to hold socials monthly. Our roads are now getting sloppy, but good compared with July of other years.
