Pukepoto Gold Find.

Further Prospecting. Mr. Tilsey, a well-known Thames prospector, has been at Pukepoto during the last three weeks, for the purpose of further prospecting and reporting on the ree'f on Mr. G. E. Hollis’ property. He is well pleased with the appearance of the stone. Surface trenches have been put in and uncovered the reef to a width of 150 feet. A large number of assays were taken right across the reef, in order to ascertain the average of the whole reef. The Thames School of Mines will make the assay, and should the result be satisfactory, it is Mr. Hollis’ intention to form a syndicate to develop the property.
