There is said to be a Chinese-Jew-ish colony in the Yang-tse-Kiang Valley, .in China. This colony has existed since 200 years before the Christian era. Its people have a synagogue in which they attend worship, extract the sinews from flesh before eating it, erect tablets to Moses and Abraham and are called by some ‘'blue-capped Mohammedans."
