Kaeo.

(From our own correspondent.) Mr. Long, dentist, of Ohaeawai, was here for a few days and did fairly good business. I understand it is his intention to pay us a visit every month, which I feel sure will be appreciated by the residents of the district. Mrs. Bert. Snowden was taken suddenly ill on Thursday night. Dr. Forbes, of Mangonui, was sent for, and I am pleased to state she is progressing favourably under the doctor’s skilful treatment. I note the remarks made by one who signs himself “ Not your correspondent.” I quite admit he was there, but owing to the little altercation that was taking place I can quite understand his not taking notice of a good deal that occurred.
