Mangonui Library.

A meeting of subscribers to the Mangonui Library was held in the Library room on Saturday evening last, 2nd June, Mr. W. J. Harris in the chair.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. It was resolved that the Government subsidy for 1906, amounting to £5 12/-, be expended in purchasing 100 books from W. E. Cole, Book Arcade, Melbourne. Mr. H. G. Hunt was appointed secretary and treasurer, vice Mr. J. T. Gillibrand resigned. The latter was accorded an unanimous vote of thanks for his past services.
