AN APOLOGY.

Mr. T. Wake writes:— The letter below is from a commercial traveller who made some careless, offhand statements relative to my character, which I have been assured were not intended to hurt me, but as they were taken seriously by some, and as a wire ha# just"\>een received asking it to bo published, I do so although I would have been satisfied to have simply held it. 20th November, 1905. Dear Mr. Wake, I veiy much regret that any remarks I have made have been miscontrued and may have proved detrimental to your character or integrity. As far as I have known you our business relations have been satisfactory, and I know nothing personally to your discredit. Yours truly, A. D. WILSON.
