ERRATA.

A careless blunder occurred in our leading article on Saturday last, which was inexcusable. " Canute" was spoken of as a " Saxon," instead of a " Dane." Had we been a schoolboy we should have deserved whipping. While making this correction, we will refer to a misprint which appeared in a leader a fortnight since (July 14), where, for the Lake of " G-alilee," was printed the Lake of " Gethsamene." This was a printer's blunder, overlooked at the time, and only came to our notice a day or two since. Such mistakes ought never to pass, but printers and editors are but men, and absolute correctness is not so easy a thing as may 6eem.
