I Sales op Stock.— Mr. Elliott reports sales at the Black Horse, Suburban-north, on the 10th instant — Fair cows, £G to £9 ; bullocks, £8 ; young steers and heifers, £3 10s. to £5. Useful horses for saddle and light harness, £8 ; heavy mare, £15. At Richmond Fair Ground, on the 13th — Prime cows, £11 to £12 10s. ; ordinary cows, £8 to £9; good bullocks, £9 to £9 10s.; young stock, £4 to £6. At Jary's mill, on the 17th— fair cows, from £9 to £11 10s. ; horses, £5 to £12. At the Traveller's Rest, Appleby, on the 19th — Cattle aud horses were in slack demand. A few young heifers and steers sold at from £3 to £4 10s. At Mr. Muntz's farm, Richmond, on the 20th, cows and calves in rather low condition brought £4 to £5 ; fair cows, £8 10s. to £9 ; tolerable steers, £6 6s. to £8. Good stock horses, £6 to £10 ; cart mare, £15. At the last-named sale several vehicles and sets of harness sold tolerably well.
