" Missing- Vessels. — The Duiwtan correspondent of the Grey River Argus, writing on the 3rd instant, says : — " Nothing has been heard of the missing vessels Driver or Phoenix, and I believe the Provincial authorities have asked the General Government to despatch the s.s. St. Kilda to search the unfrequented boys on the S.W. coast of Otago, and also of Stewart's Island, or even as far south as the Aucklands, in the hope of rendering assistance to any shipwrecked crews who may have succeeded in reaching land on these inhospitable shores, which is a probable enough supposition."
