TENDERS will be received at this office, until MONDAY, the 20th August, from persona desirous of LEASING, for the purpose of ERECTING a WHARF thereon, all that unoccupied block of LAND having a frontage of about 370 feet to the Nelson Haven, and situated between the Albion Wharf and the Wharf and land now in the occupation of Mr. William Akebsten. As the Government is desirous of securing the erection of a good and substantial Wharf on the above-mentioned site, persons tendering will be required to state fully the description and material of the Wharf and Buildings they intend to erect ; the time within wbioh the same shall be completed ; the rent they will agree to pay per annum : and all other necessary particulars. The rates of Wharfage will be limited to thoße charged at the Government Wharf. The Haven-rdad will have to be made good one chain wide at the expense of the lessee, the whole length of the frontage, as shown on the plan. The term of lease will be twenty-one years. Good security will be required for the due performance of the conditions of the lease. A plan of the block to be leased can be seen, and, if necessary, other particulars obtained at this office.
