A considerable portion of the open land has a good boundary fence, and has been already partially cultivated. It is needless to point oufc to intending settlers the advantage of the present opportunity of investment, seeing that unless land in private hands is brought into the market, persons desirous of settling in the Aorere Valley are unable to acquire a homestead.
