POLICE COURT.

Tuesday, June 15, 1858. [Before John Poynteb, Esq., Resident Magistrate.] Captain Norris v. Two Seamen of the Burmah, for continued wilful disobedience to lawful commands on board their ship. These seamen had been sentenced to imprisonment and hard labour at Wellington for a similar offence, and had been put on board again on the ship leaving there. They admitted the offence, and stated they would not do any more work. Sentenced to two months' imprisonment, and hard labour.
