THOMSON has received instructions from the Executors of the late CHAELEB CHURCH HASLEWOOD, Esquire, to offer for PUBLIC SALE, at the Auction Mart, CHRISTCHURCH, on THURSDAY, 24th June, 1858, the foUowing SHEEP-RUNS, STOCK, &c., belonging to the Estate. t Lot I. The GOODWILL of a SHEEP-RUN of 13,000 acres, known as the CORINGA STATION, on the Waimakariri, about 6 miles from Christchurch, with the improvements thereon, consisting of DWELLING - HOUSE, HUTS, STOCKYARDS, HURDLES, DIPPING-TROUGH, &c. &c. From the well-known fattening qualities of the run, and its proximity to Christchurch, it is particularly adapted for a wether 3tation. Parties engaged in bringing stock for sale from the other provinces avUI also find this station worthy of their special attention, as its possession will not only afford a convenient central point for delivery, but wiU further give peculiar facilities for taking advantage of any fluctuations in market prices. By far the larger portion of the run is totaUy unfit for agricultural purposes, so that the holder need be under no apprehension of its being purchased over him. In addition to the pre-emptive rights (extending to 300 acres) granted for improvements, there are two pre-emptive rights of 250 acres each, held under the Canterbury Association's Regulations. Lot 11. The GOODWILL of a RUN of 15,000 acres in the GORGE of the WAIMAKARIRI. This run, which has well-defined boundaries, is situated in the country recently discovered in the gorge of the Waimakariri, the greater part of which has been taken up by settlers of experience from Australia. Lot 111. 1,200 SHEEP (more or less) of which about 900 are breeding ewes, now lambing or about to lamb down, Mr. Haslewood's flock was weU known as one of the best in New Zealand. It has been carefuUy culled, and the last draught was made only a few weeks before his decease, Every sheep now offered was examined and selected by himself individually. To a small capitalist about to form a station, or to a flockmaster desirous of improving his stock, such an opportunity as the present has never yet been offered in Canterbury.
