Francis Bine Rush> who has been for some time in a state of unsound mind, was brought up under circumstances which denoted a decidedly dangerous derangement of intellect ; for from the evidence of his wife and a friend it appeared that, on Tuesday last, he had been sharpening an axe, and had threatened to take the lives of his wife and children. Drs. Wilson and Bush deposed as to Rush's insanity, and both ■aid they thought it unsafe for him to be* any longer at large : he was consequently committed to Gaol for safe custody.
