I Any veßSel exceeding the time allowed will be ; charged at the rate of Five Pounds sterling per day. LEWIS CONWAY, WATCHMAKER and JEWELLER, Teafalgaii-street, begs to inform those friends who have been so kind as to patronize him since his arrival in Nelson, that he has received, by recent shipments from Sydney, tho most choice selection of all kinds of Gold and Silver Watches, Jewellery of all descriptions ; and his stock of all classes of Fancy Goods, too numerous to mention, comprises Musical Boxes, Flutinas, Concertinas, and Clocks. Such a stock has never before been seen in Nelson. A nice lot of Rings made up from Appoo's Flat gold, worked in Nelson. "IVrOTICE is hereby given that, at the next JLA sessions of the Provincial Council for the Province of Nelson, APPLICATION will be made on behalf of the Dun Mountain Copper Mining Company (Limited), FOB LEAVE TO INTRODUCE A BILL to empower the said Company to construct and maintain a RAILWAY, for the transport of the ores and other produce arising from the mine 3 and lands of the Company, leading from the Baid mines and lands along and over the public road now existing in the district of the Maitai in tho said province, and along and over certain of the public streets in the Town of Nelson, and along and over waste lands of the Crown intervening between the said mines and lands and the place of sale and shipment of the produce of the said mines and lands, with power to the Company to take and purchase private lands necessary for the purposes of the said Railway ; and I hereby further give notice that plans, showing the proposed line of the said Railway, will, within six weeks from this date, be deposited at the following places, namely — At the Office of the Commissioner of Pubh'c Works for the said province, At the Office of tho Board of Works for the said Town of Nelson, At the Office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the said province, At the Office of the Superintendent of the said province, And at the Office of the said Company in Trafal-gar-street North, in the said Town of Nelson.
