Correspondence. To The Editor Of THE 'Nelson Examiner.'
Sib— Will you allow me, through the medium of your paper, to inquire how it is that the money collected to improve the town is to bo frittered away in paying £25 a-year for a place that the Board of "Woris may meet in and carry on their business ? Could not a room be found at the Depot, and save the expense ? la this economy ?
I am, &c, A Ratepayer.
Nelson, December Ist, 1867.
