RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Monday, November 23, 1857.

[Before John Poynteb, Esq., Resident Magistrate.}

John Goodyer and Bridget Dougherty made their appearance, being charged with drunken and disorderly conduct on the evening of Sunday last. It appears that a disturbance had been created outside the Depot, and that Goodyer had taken rather a prominent part therein ; for this he was fined £\ and costs. The fair partner in his offence being discharged, with a caution that should she again appear in a similar position, her liberty might probably be curtailed for a short period.
