TK^HEREAS the necessary WRITS * " having been issued by his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand for the ELECTION of a SUPERINTENDENT for the Province of Nelson under the provisions of an Act of Parliament, intituled, "An Act to Grant a Representative Constitution to the Islands of..New Zealand," I hereby appoint FRIDAY, the fifteenth day of July instant, at Twelve o'clock at noon, at the Court House, Nelson, for the nomination of Candidates ro fill the said office. In the event of a Poll being demanded, I hereby appoint MONDAY, the first day of August next, for the polling to take place in the following districts :— For the TOWN of NELSON, at the Court House aforesaid. For the SUBURBAN DISTRICTS, at a storehouse, Gardiner's Rope Walk, Town end. For the DISTRICT of WAIMEA SOUTH, at the school house in Spring Grove.
