A PUBLIC MEETING of the INHABITANTS of NELSON will be held in the Institution, on WEDNESDAY, the 31st instant, to receire | and take into consideration the Report of the Committee I appointed on the 14th ult., "to inquire into and report upon the actual condition of the settlement, the measures most conducive to its future prosperity," &c, &c, &c. As this document will treat of matters of the greatest importance to all classes of the community, a full attendance is earnestly requested. The chair will be taken at One o'clock precisely.
