IMPORTS. In the Moonraker, from Kawhia. — 38 pigs. In the Lively, from Kawhia.— 76 pigs, 1 cask salt pork, 2001bs. onions, 17 bushels wheat. In the Fidele and Amelia, from Wellington. —94 tous flour, Schroder.
The Comet will sail for Sydney to-morrow. The Caledonia, it is stated, will positively sail from Wellington for London to-morrow. The brig Bee, with a general cargo, and two officers and fifty rank and file of the 58th regiment, arrived at Wellington from Sydney on the 19th of April.
The schooner Hannah was sold at Wellington on the 24th ult., by Messrs. Bethune and Hunter, for £350. The purchaser was Captain Salmon. The Raymond left Sydney for London on the 21st of March.
The Slams Castle has been taken up by the Government of New South Wales to convey troops to Auckland. She was to sail from Sydney with 200 on the 10th of April. The Star of China was to leave Sydney for Wellington and Nelson on the 11th of April. Lite Sisters has taken a general cargo from Hobart Town to Singapore. Her owner, we understand, has chartered another vessel for the New Zealand trade.
The Sydney Herald states that the Economist, a new barque built expressly for the New Zealand spar trade, is getting ready for sea.
The brig Guide has been sold in Sydney for £270.
The barque Augustus, hence February Ist, arrived at Adelaide on the 6th of March.
The Timet of December 2d. states that H.M.S. Dedalus, 20 guns, was hourly expected at Devonport from Woolwich, to take on board upwards of 4 cwt. of silver coin to convey to Auckland. The barque Royal Consort, which arrived at Sydney on the 7th of April, spoke the Daedalus on the 11th of January.
The Sir George Seymour, from London to Hobart Town, spoke the Falcon Lynn on the 18th of January off the Cape, bound from Boston to New Zealand with a general cargo.
