The Orotava, which sailed on the 12th, put back on the 14th, having encountered a squall which split her sails. She sailed, again the following day. The Star of China, hence the 7th of September, arrived in Sydney on the 22d, and was advertised to sail again for Wellington and Nelson on the 3d instant.

The Wanderer, for Wellington, sailed ficom Sydney on the 21st of September.

The Danish ship Skiold is in the Outer Roads, and sails for Batavia this day.

The Sir John, Franklin 17111 sail this evening for Launceston.

The ship Urgent is chartered to proceed to Manilla for a cargo for Sydney, and will sail on Wednesday next. We understand 'that on her return to Sydney it is highly probable Captain Thompson will visit us with another cargo of cattle and sheep, previous to making a second trip to Manilla, for which he is also chartered.
