The contractors will be required to execute the survey themselves, and to specify the name of any surveyor they may wish to employ as an assistant ; also, to give security for themselves and assistants that they will not erect or occupy any house upon the lands purchased for the settlement, previous to the arrival of the immigrants and the distribution of, tbe 10-acre sections. Tbe locality of the lands to be surveyed, the conditions of the contract, and further particulars, may be ascertained of the New Zealand Company's Resident Agent and Surveyor, at Otago, to whom the tenders are to be delivered on or before the 25th of July next.
