BOY OF EIGHT DROWNED
Gisborne, Nov. 30. While swimming with his two brothers and another boy in a pool at Te Reinga, Norman Vendall Spence, aged eight, son of Mr and Mrs Randall Spence, was drowned. The body was recovered later. The boy got into difficulties in deep water and his companions were unable to help him.
