INDONESIANS REPULSED ARTILLERY USED BY ENEMY Batavia, Nov. 26. A British communique states that the Indonesians in a counter-attack against one Anglo-Indian unit in Surabaya yesterday used artillery and a number of Large numbers of Indonesians were observed proceeding towards Malang, indicating that they intend abandoning the small southern sector in Surabaya which is still in their hands. One hundred Indonesians in Batavia attacked a company of Punjabs, who killed about half the attackers. Indonesian mortar wounded a number of women at the Ambarawi RAPWI camp. Indonesian broadcasts resumed late last night on the wavelengths used by the Jogjakarta and Surakarta stations which had earlier sustained many direct hits by R.A.F. rocket-firing Mosquitoes. Reuter’s correspondent says it is not known whether the broadcoming from the original sites or from mobile transmitters.
