CALF AND TET LAMB COMPETITION
A very successful gala day was held at Bright water School when the judging of the calves and pet lambs entered in the Waimea Boys’ and Girls’ Agricultural Club’s competitions were decided. There was a very large attendance and the games, and stall were very well patronised by the public. The results of the calf and pet lamb competitions were as follows: Calves: Care and handling, senior, Jeanette McDonald 1; care and handling, junior, Tom Newman 1. Dairy type, grade, light breed: Graeme Springer 1, Laughton Wilkinson 2, Barara Springer 3. Dairy type, purebred, high breed, Cleone Chadwick 1, Petra Chadwick 2. Pet lambs: Barbara Sigley 1, Christine McDonald 2, Jeanette Moulder 3.
