Mr Basil King, who has been Commissioner of Crown Lands at -Nelson since December last year, has now been transferred to a similar position in North Auckland. His successor in Nelson will be Mr E. P. Wakelin. the present secretary to the Minister of Lands. Mr. V. Duff. New Plymouth, has been selected by the New Zealand Employers’ Federation as tlu> representative of the employers to attend the International Labour Conference in Paris next October. The appointment has yef to be approved by the Government. Mr. Duff is secretary of the Taranaki Employers’ Association and Chamber of Commerce. He was tho employers’ re- j presentstive on the Second Arbitration Court.- |
