GAOL FOR ARMY DESERTER
Auckland 21st Aug. Found guilty of desertion by a district court-martial at Papakura camp on August 10. Private Robert William Sewell, 15th Reinforcement, was sentenced to imprisonment with hard labour for one year, eleven months. Sc well is stated to have been absent from April 19 last until his arrest at Whitianga. on August 3rd.
