CIVIC PROBLEMS
EXCHANGE OF IDEAS Auckland, July 27 With the object of initiating an exchange of ideas on common municipal and civic problems, the Mayor. Mr J. A. C. Allum. recently wrote to the Lord Mayor of Melbourne. Sir Thomas Nettlefold, inviting him to visit Auckland in hfs official capacity as the guest of the city. Sir Thomas has replied that, although he is recovering from illness, he hopes to make the visit before August 27th, when his term as Lord Mayor ends.
