COMPLETE JAPANESE MOBILISATION

BILL PASSES HOUSE OF PEERS (Rec 11 a m.i London, June 12 Tokio rhdio stated that the House of Peers passed the Wartime Emergency Measures Bill. Every man between 15 and 65 and every woman from 25 to 45- will be expected to join the People's Volunteer Corps, which will be organised in cities and towns and individual factors for the dual purpose of providing additional labour for military purposes and defence when necessary. The corps will be armed with the rifles and grenades that the Army is able to furnish. Otherwise it will rely on bamboo spears. Samurai swords and other available weapons.
