INTERCESSION
Almighty God, Who hast set forth Thy blessed Son to be our example, our devotion and our solace in trouble, grant that through faith in Him, through patience and prayer for Thy fatherly help and mercy in His name and for His merits sake, we may accomplish the task which Thou hast given us to do, and hearing afar off the songs of them that triumph, may endure to the end and obtain with thejri the like reward ; through our Saviour Jesus Christ.
