HUNT FOR MADMAN
HOMICIDAL MANIAC IN ROUEN (Rec. 11.30 a.m.) London, June 11 A homicidal maniac running amok in Rouen since yesterday has killed 14. including two policemen, and wounded n ne, says Paris Radio. The maniac, who is armed with a rifle and is drunk, first attempted to strangle a girl. He then shot dead at point-blank range several people he encountered in the streets. Gendarmes and a mobile brigade of French tirailleurs are participating in the hunt for the madman.
