FIGHTING SERVICES CLUB

LARGE ATTENDANCES AT WEEKEND There were large attendances by servicemen at the Fighting Services Club at the week-end when 320 hot meals, and a considerably larger number of teas and suppers, were served. Members of Ihe Nelson : Horticultural Society who provide and arrange the flowers every week-end seem to overcome the present winter j flower shortage. Gifts to the club included a sack of j cabbage from the Park Davis Trading | Coy. Ltd. and cut luncheon sausage j from an anonymous donor.
