London, June 3 Mr de Valera. Prime Minister of Eire in a speed} at Waterford after a triumphal entry into the town preceded by a cavalcade of horsemen, exhorted the people to learn Irish. “English is a language brought into Ireland by foreigners who imposed it on Ireland through their laws. If you lose your ianguage you lose the bond uniting you as a nation and will only become a province of Britain.”
