EASTER SATURDAY PICNIC

On Easter Saturday we all went to the Sunday School picnic. We went < in the school bus down to Paton’s Rocks, and then to the beach, where we collected shells. We played on the slide and then had our dinner. We also went for a swim, but the sea was very cold. Before we had afternoon tea we ran races on the sand, but I didn t win anything. After our races we had one for the ladies and Mum won it. Then we played more games till it was time to go home. —lrene Dodson. Takaka
