CONTROL BY ALLIES ** Washington, May 10. Mr Elmer Davis, Director of the Office of War Information, announced that all publications, films and business/ enterprises from the United States and other countries will be barred from Germany indefinitely during the military occupation. Allied .armies will control all newspapers and other publications, films, t and radio enterprises. Information sections of the occupying governments will publish a few newspapers, magazines and books and operate the surviving radio stations. Most broadcasts within reach of ordinary sets will be from Allied nations, but the Germans will be permitted to listen to programmes of nearby neutrals, such as Swiss. REPATRIATION OF CANADIANS London, May 11. Canadians under 35 who volunteer for Pacific service will be the first to be repatriated to Canada from Europe, reports the British United Press. Individuals with the highest point scores for service will be the next to be repatriated, then the remainder who are not required for the occupation of Germany.
