His first advice to them was that when they were working they should work hard ' and when they were playing they should | play hard. They should never try to ! mix the two together. If they worked j hard they would do their work more ! quickly, better and enjoy it more. Secj ondlj r , His Excellency advised the child- [ ren to do their work well for the sake J of doing it well, not because they were I going to receive a reward for it. There 1 was pleasure, satisfaction and joy in doing work really well. Reward, payment and praise would follow automatically and they would enjoy life a great deal more. Before leaving the school. Their Excellencies walked among the children, speaking individually to as many as possible. At the request of Sir Cyril the children were granted a special holiday on Monday.
