It may be when the rosy day is breaking That we shall hear the silver bells of peace; It may be, when the noonday sun is flooding Our world with sultry light, that strife will cease. It may be when the sunset banners quiver, And crimson silence rests on stream and flower; It may be when the pallid stars are shining That it shall peal, the glorious Victory Hourl Bessie L.
