SPECIAL PRISONERS REMOVED

KING’S NEPHEW INCLUDED London, April 18. A correspondent of ‘The Times,” who was taken prisoner in a commando raid on St. Nazaire, was among the prisoners released from a prison camp on Supday. He said that three nights previously the Germans removed a number of special prisoners, including Lieutenant Lord Lascelles, the King’s nephew; Captain the Master of Elphinstone, the Queen’s nephew; Captain Michael Alexander, Field Marshal Alexander’s cousin; Mr Giles Romeilly, Mr Churchill’s nephew; and Mr John Winant. son of the American Ambassador to London. The correspondent added that the Germans were on the point of removing the remaining 350 prisoners, including many well-known Bi'itish officers and others, when the Americans reached the camp.
