RAILCAR STRIKES ARMY TRUCK

Wellington, April 13. Two soldiers were injured when the Army truck in which they were travelling over a level crossing near Trent ham military camp was hit by the 6.13 p.m. Wellington-Masterton railcar last night. The injured men who were admitted to the camp hospital are Driver N. T. Heapy, suffering from a fractured leg, shock and bruises, and Driver A. W. G. Bird who received extensive bruises. • The accident occurred about 7 o’clock. The truck was badly smashed but only slight damage was done to the railcar which was able to proceed after a delay of 25 minutes.
