FAIR TO FINE . Wellington, This Day. Situation: A cold front is passing north-east over the North Island and an anti-cyclone centred Victoria is extending toward the Dominion. Forecast to 5 p.m. Tuesday; Modi erate to fresh south-westerly winds, a few further showers, but soon becoming fair to fine, temperatures colder with some sharp frosts tonight. j Further outlook; fair to fine conditions. The strong south-westerly wind on Saturday gave way to warm, calm conditions on Sunday. The minimum temperature on the grass on Saturday night was 35.8 degrees and on Sunday night 39.4 degrees. The week-encP bright sunshine figures were: Saturday, 9 hours 8 minutes: Sunday, 9 hours 20 minutes. To-day was warm and sunny after an overcast sky and a light shower earlier in the morning, with a light south westerly wind.
