TURKEY AND RUSSIA
Ankara, April 9. Turkish newspapers publish under big headlines the text of a Note from the Foreign Minister to the Soviet Ambassador to Turkey in reply to the Russian declaration denouncing the TurcoRussian Pact of Friendship and Neutrality, states Reuter. The Note stressed the fact that the Turkish Government would consider with the utmost good will and readiness any proposals with a view to the conclusion of a new pact.
